Java Games 1: Which Games Are For My Phone? Just below the description of each game there is a list of the phone makes and specific models it is available for. If your phone is not listed, the game will not work on your phone. You are advised the check the list regularly to see if your phone becomes supported by the game as we add new games all the time! 2: How Will My Order Be Delivered? 1. After you have placed your order your phone will receive a configuration file. This file contains all the information needed to download your chosen game. Nokia: You will receive a WAP Bookmark to your phone shortly after ordering. You should choose the option to Save the bookmark. Then, you should see a list of available bookmarks. Choose the bookmark you just saved and the Game description should show within a few seconds, and an option to download (Dload) the game should appear. Siemens: You will receive a text message containing a link. Scroll down the text message to view the link fully, and write it down somewhere. Once you are sure you have written the link down carefully, save the text message for future reference (until you have the game), and access your phones WAP functions. You should see somewhere to enter a WAP or Internet web address. Enter the address you wrote down, ensuring the text begins http://, and use the phones functions to go to it. 2. Once connected, your game may take up to 3 minutes to download. DO NOT disconnect during the download! Your handset may not seem like it is downloading anything. Please wait for at least 5 minutes before pressing any keys. 3. Once downloaded your handset will report that the download was successful. Please note that your new game may be stored in your "Applications" directory and not your "Games" directory. 3: An Error Occurred, I Don't Think It Downloaded? 1. Try again in a few minutes. 2. Check your phone's free memory available. If you are able to see the description of the game on your phone, it should say how much memory it requires, and if your phone's free memory is less than this, you will need to delete some other games to make room. Check your phone's manual for details on this limitation and what sort of things you can safely delete. 3. If you are still unable to download the game, it may be because your phone operator's WAP Gateway is not able to let you download it. Simply call 09014 902209 (50p charge from landline, call cost from mobiles may vary) and we shall send you a configuration file so you can connect to our gateway. Once you have received our WAP configuration file your phone will store this information so that next time you want to download a game it will connect directly to our WAP gateway. 4. If you still find problems, please contact us using the contact form or helpline number on the website. 4: I'm Not Receiving Any of These Messages to my Phone If you are waiting for the bookmark or text message for the game, or the new WAP Gateway settings, these are sent like a normal text message, and so it may be delayed should the network be busy. Please wait up to 24 hours before contacting us about the problem. If you are still unsure how to save your new Java Game on your handset then please refer to your handset's user manual. |
